The school library offers a variety of print and electronic reference resources which will help you in your research on rainforests.

You will be able to use this dictionary to locate the correct spelling and meaning of any words not included on the 'Key Terms' page. Also, because it is an Australian encyclopedic dictionary you will also find information on such topics as the Daintree.

Encarta Kids is an encyclopedia found on all our school computers. You may start with a search on rainforests but soon find yourself clicking on links to ecosystems and plants and animals found in rainforests. Maps, diagrams, photographs are even videos are included with the articles.

The Big Oxford Atlas 2 is designed to help you learn how to read maps. The Oxford Atlas consists of a big book and digital interactive maps on CD-ROM. Rainforests of Australia and the world can be explored using these interactive maps.
